Documentary photography
usually refers to a popular form of photography used
to chronicle both significant and relevant to history and historical events and
everyday life. It is typically covered in professional photojournalism, or real
life reportage, but it may also be an amateur, artistic, or academic pursuit.
My Interpretation
A day to day set of photograph that represents everyday life, or a specific event, or even relevant to some history. It can be documented in many ways, usually in professional photojournalism, but it can also be documented in an artistic or academic pursuit.
