Joiner Definition

Definition
A joiner is a photo collage, which manipulates the viewers eye, as it is many photos of the same object, that creates a different image.
In the early 1980's, Hockney began  to produce photo collages that he called "joiners", first of polaroid prints and later of 35mm, commercially processed colour prints.

Edited Image

These are the edits I made to the original image using photoshop,
In the beginning I changed the levels, this meant that I organised the amount of blacks and the amounts of whites within the photograph, and then I changed the curves, which is where I change the brightness and contest in much more detail, however I wanted to change the image completely so I changed it to black and white, which I like as it shows all the different tones within the photograph.

Edits I made to the original image using photoshop,
On this image I mainly focused on changing the colours and saturation, however using the hue/saturation didn't completely edit the photo how i wanted it too look, so this meant that I then choose to edit the colours individually, therefore i decreased the amount of blacks in the photo so there was any really dark places, and i made the sky, which is the main focus of the photograph, more bright,  by increasing the saturation.

Least Favourite Image
This is my least favourite image because it has a lot of empty space at the bottom of the photograph, and it doesn't capture the full capacity of the garden. If i were too take this image again i would avoid taking the photograph at this angle, this means that there would be more to look at in the photograph.

Movement Definiton

Movement Definition
The act or process of moving people or things from one place or position to another.
Motion can be captured through freeze frame, or a motion blur

My Interpretation
Movement is something that moves, which could be people or different objects, from one area to another, and can be captured in 2 ways, either a freeze frame or a motion blur.

Motion Blur Defintion
Motion Blur is the apparent streaking of rapidly moving objects in a still image or a sequence of images such as a movie or animation. It results when the image being recorded changes during the recording of a single exposure, either due to rapid movement or long exposure.

Example

Freeze frame definition
Freeze frame is the action in a play or scene is frozen, as in a photograph or video frame
